This fully equipped studio is two blocks away from the very trendy rue de Bretagne at the Filles du Calvaire metro station, line 8. It is located on the 2nd level (3rd American) of a XIX century elegant and secure building (3 locked doors from the street) with no elevator and has three large windows facing south, with view to a lush and large courtyard, consequently absolutely no street noise. It is 30 square meters or around 300 square feet.
The studio consists of a main room with a comfortable full size Queen bed ( 160*200 cm or 64*80 inches ), a table for 2 but no desk, a bathroom with Italian shower, a basin and a toilet, and a fully equipped kitchen with a combined washer and drier . There are plenty of closets, a table for two and a desk.
The apartment comes with free phone to 100 countries including North America and Australia, free Wi-Fi and free cable TV.
The all-inclusive rental fee covers quality linens and towels.
The location is very convenient for touring Paris. It is within walking distance (less than 5 minutes) of Le Marais, Bastille Square and Republique Square. You can then access metro hubs easily (Republique and Bastille) and get just about everywhere in Paris directly without changing lines, and you are only 15 minutes walking to the very center of Paris, Chatelet.
The area is residential with a large variety of cafes and restaurants. In the same block there is a large supermarket (Carrefour Market).

Comfortable and convenient
This apartment is perfect for the solo traveller and located in a quiet corner of Paris. The metro station Filles Calvaire is literally a two minute walk and is your gateway to the city. Check in was easy and quick. Olivier met me upon arrival and was helpful in proving information about the local amenities. You are within walking distance to Place Des Vosges, Musee Picasso and the Maria’s district. Although checkout was 10am and my flight was in the afternoon, Olivier was great to let me leave my bag in the apartment and return later to collect it. I would recommend this apartment again.

Wonderful find in a great neighborhood
We stayed 4 nights in this spacious apartment and would happily return. Comfortable king size bed, very clean, and the neighborhood is fantastic – close to 3 metro stops, not touristy at all, lots of great restaurants and shops, a very short walk into the magnificent Marais. The apartment is one flight up (no elevator) and looks into a courtyard so it’s very quiet. Olivier was extremely responsive and helpful. There’s a full (tiny!) kitchen and a combo washer/dryer that came in quite handy. This place is a great find.
Great Location & Great Value
We spent two weeks in this spare but comfortable stuido near the Filles du Calvaire metro stop. No street noise as it is located on the 1st floor interior courtyard. The kitchen had everything we needed for morning coffee, and cook up some eggs if we wanted. The location in the 11th was very convenient to several metro and bus stops, We opted for the combining transit and walking most days. Only a 20 minute walk to Place de Voges or a little more for Notre Dame. All in all, this location was great for exploring the whole of Paris and not just the major attractions. There’s a CarreFour market a few doors down from the flat and several pharmacies in the area, whicih proved invaluable since we both came down with colds. There was great communication with the host both before and during our stay. We’d definitely book this unti again.
