Oberkampf 3 – Studio
This small but fully equipped studio is two blocks away from the Republique Square. It is located on the top 6th level (7th American) of a XIX century building on the back side, with rooftop views and therefore offers full silence. The building is very secure and has an elevator.
The studio consists of a main room with a full size comfortable double bed ( 140 * 195 cm or 55 * 77 inches ), a bathroom with shower, toilets and basin, and a fully equipped kitchen. there are plenty of closets and a table for two. The studio has 2 windows facing south, one of them has a small balcony.
The apartment comes with free Wi-Fi and free cable TV.
The all-inclusive rental fee covers quality linens and towels.
The location is very convenient for touring Paris. It is within walking distance (less than 10 minutes) of Le Marais. The nearest metro station is Republique which is a main metro hub with direct access to line 3, 5, 8,9 and 11. From Republique, due to this number of lines, you can basically get anywhere in Paris directly without switching metro lines. As an example, the Eiffel Tower which is on the other side of Paris is only 20 minutes away with line 9, and you are only 15 minutes of walking distance away from the very center of Paris, Chatelet.
The area is safe and residential. The building is located on the Boulevard Richard Lenoir which is a very wide avenue with parks with playgrounds in the middle. On Tuesdays and Fridays there is a picturesque farmers market down the street on this avenue where you can buy all sorts of fresh products (fruits, vegetables, meat, cheeses, fish, flowers, etc ).
There is a wide range of restaurants and a number of supermarkets in the immediate neighborhood and the trendy Oberkampf street is around the corner.

I had a wonderful 2 week stay in this apartment. The apartment is very small, but was quite sufficient for me. It is impeccably clean. The location is excellent and the neighborhood very safe, with self-service laundry and grocery store right around the corner. Great restaurants, cafés, etc. all within blocks of the building. Both Oberkampf and République métro stops are very close by. La Place de la République is only a few blocks away. The open-air market on Tuesday and Friday was a real treat. Olivier is extremely helpful, responsive, and accommodating. Café Oberkampf, which is less than a five minute walk away, became one of my favorite places for coffee and sandwiches. Many boulangeries within a few blocks, including one top ten winner of the best croissant in Paris and the best baguette in Paris. Canal St Martin is within easy walking distance, and La Place de la Bastille is also within waking distance, though a bit farther, as is the Marais. I would definitely return to this apartment for another stay. Highly recommended!
This is a perfect studio for two in a cool, perfectly located area. Close to metro, supermarket, boulangerie and markets happening every few days. Olivier was very prompt in his replies and helping us out whenever he could. The apartment is easy to find on a main boulevard, safely secure and the elevator is a huge bonus. The small balcony boasts a quaint view of a picturesque rooftops. Highly recommend!
The flat had everything I needed, Olivier even provided an adapter plug so I could charge my laptop as I had forgotten to bring one myself. I got some wonderful strawberries and plums at the farmer’s market across the steet. The flat was very quiet despite being on a busy boulevard. I would definitely stay here again.

Excellent from beginning to end. Owner has great and prompt communications. Very easy to book and get information. – The location is amazing. I like taking the bus and the bus stop is literally a few steps away. Metro station is also very close by. The neighborhood has wonderful restaurants, markets, laundry, and bakeries. Can’t beat the location! – Apartment itself is on top floor. The roof top view is amazing from the balcony window. Everything you need is in the place. Bed is comfortable. Kitchen is well equipped. Everything works. Good lights too. Clean. – Being on top floor and facing mid day sun, it does get pretty warm during the day. A fan is provided and great thick sun blocking blinds in windows. – The place is compact but plenty big enough for me. I traveled alone. I am sure big enough for 2 as well comfortably. – Overall very happy with my choice. Easy arrangement from start to finish. Recommend if you like the points I mentioned. Bus stop is #96 bus which goes to the Marais , Hotel de Ville, and St Germaine. So convenient. – I did filming for YouTube and had to do editing at night. We enjoyed our stay June 7 to 20. It is tiny but okay if one is going to be out exploring Paris. Who goes to Paris to stay in anyway? Easy to get to from Charles de Gaulle airport. We purchased a weekly pass (good Saturday to Sunday) at the airport kiosk (Terminal 3?) that was good for the bus, metro & RER. There is a photo booth near the kiosk to take your pic for the pass. We took the 350 bus to Gare de l’est and the metro 5 to Oberkampf metro station. It’s a 5 minute walk from there. The Republique metro is ~ a 10 – 15 minute walk. The neighborhood is safe. Franprix and Ubio food stores are nearby. There is an open air food market on the boulevard Tuesday and Friday. Lots of cafes & restaurants. Access to the tourist sites is quick and easy via the metro. The studio is on the 6th floor and is quiet. The studio can be very warm on a hot day. If you are big people the elevator will be a tight fit. We would stay there again. Merci Olivier and Salvador
